It also isolates pet hair and keeps your dog off the upholstery. The unit operates on 13.8 volts and comes in two sizes. The smaller size fits the back seat of most cars. Dual thermostats maintain an even surface temperature 12º to 15º above the ambient air temperature then warms to a cozy 100º when in use by your pet. The bed is made of cushy orthopedic foam and a washable soft fleece cover. The optional AC adapter allows this be to be used at home or motor home when plugged in at the RV park.
